Why is Cody Rhodes my favorite wrestler? Why has he been my favorite wrestler since day one? It’s simple… Cody Rhodes puts 110% into every single thing he does in that ring. Cody Rhodes loves this business with all of his heart. This business is his be all, end all. He isn’t looking to be in movies or on TV shows. He doesn’t have a list of things he’d be doing if he wasn’t wrestling. Wrestling is it. Wrestling is his passion and it shows no matter what he has going on. Whether he is talking on the microphone, appearing in a backstage segment, in the opening match, main event, on a house show, Raw, SmackDown, PPV…it doesn’t matter. He gives his all and it shows. He gives his all and you can feel it. You can see it. I get goosebumps watching Cody because his passion is so evident, you can’t help but to get lost in his matches watching him doing not only what he loves best, but what he does best. Cody was put on this earth to wrestle. His talent can only be matched by his love for what he does and I not only respect him for how hard he works and how dedicated he is, but I also admire him for it. Thinking back to some of Cody’s most memorable moments, so many come to mind. He debuted simply as the son of the American Dream, but it wasn’t long before it was clear he was so much more than that. After being a part of one of the best stables in recent history, Cody proved that he was capable of evolving when he became Dashing. From Dashing to a disturbed masked man to eventually reviving the Intercontinental championship, Cody delivered. From the exceptional promos he gave us to his stellar matches, he proved every naysayer wrong and continues to do so to this day. As the youngest and hungriest man in the locker room, Cody’s future is so bright. Most recently, Cody returned from serious injuries to his shoulder that would have kept most out far longer than 25 days, but his devotion to recovery had him back in record time. I couldn’t be more proud to support Cody Rhodes. He gives every bit of himself to us when he performs. He gives his blood, sweat, heart and soul every single time. He’s had my unconditional support since the very beginning and he’ll have it forever.
